Job Facilitation Process
Dsectors will facilitate the job hiring process on behalf of a reputed online platform, including job posting, CV collection, shortlisting, interviews, and negotiation with potential candidates, acting as an HR intermediary. The selected candidate will be finally recruited by the client, but Dsectors will periodically monitor the satisfaction of our client in terms of job performance.
Job Purpose
The Accounts and Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the overall financial strategy and ensure the efficient management of resources.
Scope of Work and Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the preparation, examination, and analysis of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting processes, including developing and managing annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organization’s needs and preparing periodic budget forecasts.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and all tax and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, and maintaining and improving financial controls and procedures.
- Coordinating with external auditors and managing the audit process, leading the annual audit process.
- Providing financial advice and insights to support strategic decision-making, analyzing financial data and providing insights to senior management.
- Managing payroll and ensuring timely payment of salaries and other benefits.
- Handling banking relationships and managing investments.
- Managing a team of accounting and finance professionals.
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a reputable organization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reporting
The Accounts and Finance Manager will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and work closely with the senior management team.
Benefits
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 80,000 Taka per month inclusive of taxes. The employee will be responsible for paying their own taxes. Additional benefits include: Festival Bonus, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Maternity/Paternity leave.
Duration
The initial contract will be for one year, including a three-month probation period, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
